This 1930s “Traditional Imari” pattern (2451) was introduced in 1887 and is based on the earlier pattern number 877 from the year 1880. This is one of Royal Crown Derby’s most popular and enduring designs, and is one of the ‘B Group’ of patterns with a distinctive border pattern.
Today we are delighted to offer a full set of 6 teacup trios in this pattern. They have the puce backstop and date cypher that date this particular set to 1939. A very elegant, highly collectible pattern and a practical set as well.
