Charming vintage midcentury elephant figurine, originally a condiment holder but could be used as a bud vase or toothpick holder.
Nicely moulded features but the best part are its little side panniers which are actually salt and pepper shakers. Still has its cruet spoon but the lid is missing; I would pop toothpicks there and it would still be charming and serviceable.

Good/fair vintage condition. Missing lid, one small chip to base of one foot which does not affect display or use. Crazing overall and some paint loss typical of midcentury Japanese porcelain of this style.
