A pretty vintage English novelty cottage ware teapot made by Keele Street Pottery circa 1940s to 60s in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
It is designed to resemble a traditional English cottage, with a sweet wooden door and trailing vines of hand-painted ivy.
Founded in 1915, the company initially focused on utilitarian earthenware but after World War II, produced ornamental and novelty ware (“fancies”) as well as their iconic cottage ware line.
This piece comes with its original liner plate, which furthers adds to its charm and practicality.

Measurements: 22cm length from handle to spout, 15cm height.
Excellent vintage condition. Colours are vivid with minimal wear to glaze. Backstops worn but still legible on teapot.
