Vintage Chinese Jadeite Fei Cui Snake and Peach Pendant

A good vintage jadeite pendant depicting a snake curled around a peach. In Chinese culture the snake is a symbol of longevity, and it was believed that snake spirits could transform into dragons after centuries of spiritual cultivation. 

We believe this to be untreated, with some degree of translucency. Good luster, colouration and texture of “cotton”. This would make a wonderful present for someone special.
