Extremely rare and stunning set of 2 silver and gilt 4 light candelabra by Aurum & Tim Minett, London 1977. No. 91 and 127 of a limited edition series of 250 worldwide.
Made to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, with three plain cylindrical columns issuing from a central column, above the silver-gilt stem modelled as a crowned rampant lion holding forward a crown, and the other paw resting on a shield, within a castellated border, on a fluted foot.
Price marked at AUD$8,000 for the pair.
Excellent vintage condition, minimal wear to gilt.
