Significant and Collectible Silver Scottish McGregor Clan Brooch

Today we have a collectible and highly valuable McGregor clan brooch with the hallmarks for Edinburgh 1979.
One of the most historic clans of Scotland, with ancestral history dating to the 12th century.
Entirely crafted from sterling silver, this brooch depicts a crowned lion with surrounding it the McGregor clan motto ‘S Rioghal mo dhream, “Royal is our race”. This allusion to the rich lineage of the McGregor clan is borne out by the size and weight of this brooch, a sizeable 24 grams.

The back is well crafted with a secure rollover clasp.
