A beautiful set of 12 sterling silver flower spoons made by John Pinches and issued by The Royal Horticultural Society of Great Britain, with original elegantly carved wooden case, booklet and certificate of authenticity. Assay marks on each spoon for Sheffield, 1974 and stamped Stokes on the back. These spoons were available through private subscription only and were not available for sale to the general public. Box is beautifully fitted and possibly Tasmanian Oak.

The twelve flowers featured on these spoons include Rose, Freesia, Daffodil, Anemone, Dahlia, Gladiolus, Iris, Chrysanthemum, Gentian, Tulip, Columbine, and Viola.

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) of Great Britain is one of the oldest and most prestigious horticultural organizations in the world. Founded in London in 1804 by John Wedgwood, the Society has been an international leader in improving horticultural techniques ever since.
