These hand painted milk, possibly opaline glass Victorian mantle vases are a personal favourite of mine.
A lovely pair that would make lovely decorations on a sideboard or fireplace, these vases were all the rage from the mid to late Victorian era. Depicting fuchsias and other floral motifs, these are in a lovely neutral beige background, against which the vibrant flowers pop wonderfully.
One vase is in excellent antique condition, the other has small chips to the rim. Light wear to bases and gilt.
