Pair of antique Victorian sterling silver salt cellars circa 1898

Here we have a lovely pair of antique late Victorian sterling silver salt cellars, with assay marks for William Henry Leather, Birmingham, 1898. William Henry Leather was active from his premises on Pitsford Street and would later partner with his son, and they produced many small fine silver items.

These two salt cellars with their original Bristol glass liners are in lovely condition and have charming details such as repousse motifs and lobed body. The central cartouche to both salt cellars have
