A beautiful pair of antique George III crested sterling silver tablespoons in the Old English Pattern with marks for London 1791, Thomas Northcote, engraved with crest bearing an lion rampant holding in forepaws a bugle-horn. The crest belongs to the Thoroton family of Thoroton, a prominent family in Nottinghamshire whose members including Thomas Thoroton were known for their dedication to local service.

Well-shaped with large bowls, these are an elegant example of Victorian fine silver flatware.


Price marked at $800 AUD the pair.

Measurements: 22 cm length. 133 grams total weight.

Excellent antique condition with minor wear commensurate with age. Marks crisp and well-struck.
