Freshly sourced from an antiques market in Korea, this pair of 20th century Chinese cloisonné vases would make excellent statement pieces.
With a crisp white background, a stylised lingzhi/ruyi border pattern to the top and bottom and a stylised blossom and bird motif, these are unusally large sizes for cloissone and would look perfect for displaying dried floral arrangements. Lovely well executed enamel work; the ombre shading to the petals are a particularly nice touch.
