Oval late Meiji to Taisho Period Satsuma rose brooch

A Japanese late Meiji to Taisho Period Satsuma brooch circa late 19th to early 20th century. Antique pin with C clasp, possibly a conversion of the period from a clasp to brooch. Beautifully handpainted details including cobalt blue border and floral motifs.

Very good antique condition with some wear overall commensurate with age.
