Fantastic, rare and collectible- this midcentury “Navajo Family” print signed by Ettore “Ted” DeGrazia ticks all the boxes. Apprenticed under Diego Riviera, the Spanish master and José Clemente Orozco sponsored an exhibition of his paintings in 1942.
He became the world’s “most reproduced artist” when UNICEF selected his painting Los Ninos for their greetings cards, launching him to global stardom. Today’s his Southwestern and Navajo paintings remain highly desired, particularly those dating from the 60s and 70s.
Painted circa 1960-1966, “Navajo Family” is one of DeGrazia’s signature works.
