A stunning antique late Victorian silver-plated and ivory faux coral handled serving fork, with sterling silver ferrule with assay marks for Sheffield, 1896, William Yates. His premises were on Rockingham Street and his legacy would be carried on as William Yates Ltd until the 2000s.

Beautifully engraved to both sides and with ornate pierced design- the handle is skilfully carved to look like coral.

Excellent condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age.
