Beautiful late 20th century Chinese reverse-painted snuff bottle, depicting scenes from the renowned painting “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” (Qingming Shanghe Tu). The craftsmanship to paint these tiny miniatures within the glass bottles remains a Guangzhou cultural specialty to this day, but has become increasingly hard to find.
