Late 19th century to early 20th century .90 Chinese Export Silver Dish, C.J.Co.

Pierced Chinese export silver dish with floral motifs and bamboo figural border details. Made from .900 standard silver, It was made by CJ Co., which stands for China Jewelry Company which was active in Shanghai from 1880-1940.

CJ Co. produced mainly smaller jewellery and dressing table items, making this larger dish a relatively rarer piece. The flowering plum details interpreted with branches make this a lovely representative piece of early 20th century Chinese craftsmanship.
