This late 19th century Chinese snuff bottle is a charming piece. Absolutely lovely moulded porcelain exterior and floral details, complete with jade stopper. The fineness of the details indicate it was made in one of the better kilns, quite possibly Jingdezhen.
Highly desirable imperial yellow colour and a charming poetic inscription depicted in porcelain, admiring the beauty of chrysanthemum flowers.
It is one of the finer porcelain examples we have come across.
