aJohn Scott (1819-1823) was active and had items assayed in Edinburgh prior to the opening of the Glasgow Assay Office opening in 1817 and worked approximately between 1808 to 1858.

Blemish to bowl; slightly indented otherwise good antique condition. Thick gauge and crisp, well-struck hallmarks.
