A beautiful George III sterling silver teapot with marks for London, 1809, Thomas Robins. Robins was active from 1794 to 1818 and was a plate worker who produced dinner plate of good quality, chiefly entree dishes which makes this a rare example of his other work.

Absolutely stunning and of unusual shape with profuse engraving overall and repousse work, with Regency details throughout including acanthus motifs on handle and spout. Lovely engraved crests to both sides of teapot of the period.


Price marked at $10,500 AUD.

Measurements: 875 grams, 27cm length. 13.5cm from base to handle (highest point).

Excellent antique condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age. Marks crisp and well-struck.
