A rare and stunning early 19th century English serving bowl with gilt chinoiserie pattern circa 1805 to 1816. With a beautiful gilt rim and richly gilded bird motifs throughout, this was produced to very high standards and remains highly desirable today. We believe and the original owner of this piece believe that this is likely Minton due to the style and quality of this bowl, however this was certainly made by a reputable manufacturer of that period.

Good antique condition, rings true. Some wear to gilt as pictured. Unmarked. Firing flaws as pictured- scrape under enamel and glaze and one hairline also under glaze and enamel.
