This “Traditional Imari” pattern (2451) was introduced in 1887 and is based on the earlier pattern number 877 from the year 1880. This is one of Royal Crown Derby’s most popular and enduring designs, and is one of the ‘B Group’ of patterns with a distinctive border pattern.
Today we are delighted to offer a full set of 6 demitasse duos in the Traditional Imari pattern by Royal Crown Derby. They have varying puce backstamps and date cyphers that date these duos between late 19th to early 20th century. A very elegant, highly collectible pattern and a practical set as well.

Condition: Overall excellent vintage near antique condition, with minor colour run to glaze, wear to base, minor gilt loss etc. which should be considered part of the item’s long history.
