An excellent William Moorcroft Wisteria pattern Vase circa 1918-1926. William Moorcroft began his career working for the MacIntyre company in the late 19th century, and by 1904 he had perfected the technique of tube-lining. In 1912 he left to establish his own pottery backed by Liberty & Co, which sold many of his products. This vase is in his signature Wisteria pattern, and is a lovely example of early Moorcroft, and displaying a beautiful range of colours signature to Moorcroft. Moorcroft pieces remain highly desirable today.
Price marked at $650 AUD. Measurements: 13cm high, approximately. 7.5cm diameter. Excellent vintage possibly antique condition. “Flash” (Initial) Signature legible and incised marks crisp.
