Vintage Japanese Showa Period Asahi Shoten sterling silver plate circa 1940s to 1950s

This beautiful mid-century Japanese sterling silver plate is in a timeless scalloped design and was made by Asahi Shoten circa the 1940s to 1950s. 

Asahi Shoten was opened in Kannai, Yokohama in the 1890s and remains operational today. It was known for its premier tableware and fine jewellery. 

This would be an incredible presentation piece, sure to make a statement in any home.

Measurements: 21cm plate diameter, 2cm height. 292 grams. 

Very good vintage condition overall, with minor hairline scratches to surface and base.
