Vintage 20th century Thai Garuda Phra Khrut Pha motif silver trinket or pill box

Beautiful Thai silver box, circa early to mid 20th century with Garuda motif, which is the national emblem of Thailand and known there as Phra Khrut Pha. With origins in Hindu and Buddhist mythology, the Garuda has been worshipped as a deity and divine symbol of Vishnu for centuries across Southeast Asia. Hallmarked to base but marks very worn; tests as silver between .800 to .900 silver purity.

Overall good vintage condition, one tiny pinhole to face, otherwise light wear commensurate with age.
