Charming vintage Royal Doulton toby jug depicting Mr. Pickwick in the small size, first designed by Leslie Harradine and Harry Fenton circa 1947-1960. Mr Pickwick was was a popular character in Charles Dickens’ The Pickwick Papers, and this is from the Charles Dickens’ Characters series. A classic and very popular design, and a very well made piece.
Price marked at $100 AUD. Measurements: 6.4cm high. Excellent vintage condition. Light wear overall commensurate with age, no chips or cracks to note.
