English Sterling Silver and Enamel Equestrian Scene Cufflinks ca. 1900-1950
These lovely English cufflinks would be the perfect finishing touch to any outfit. The equestrian scenes they depict adding just the right dash of vintage charm.
The cufflinks depict a rider on horseback, with the horse going through its paces, on each side of the cufflink; the enamelwork is beautifully done and the lines are still crisp. The horse is skilfully executed with its posture and musculature shown to best advantage.
These cufflinks are circa 1900-1950, and are possibly from the 1930s.
They come in their original vintage cufflink presentation box as found, and the box is also in lovely vintage condition with only slight wear as pictured. Paul Goble is a jeweller in Brighton whose business is still extant today, and who specialises in vintage to antique jewellery, suggesting that these particular cufflinks
Condition: Very good vintage, near antique condition. Some wear to the backs as shown but they present excellently.
Dimensions: 2cm length, 1 cm width (per cufflink).
