Collectible antique Republic period 1 Yuan coin circa 1914 in period Chinese export silver setting by unsigned maker, with the warlord Yuan Shi Kai on the obverse of coin. Colloquially known in the West as “Fatman Dollars”, these are highly desirable and collectible, with the 1914 variety being particularly rare.

Well made, this trinket dish features a bamboo border as well as hand-hammered details to the body of the dish.
