Exquisite late Victorian to Edwardian period Anglo-Indian Calcutta silver tea set comprising teapot, sugar bowl and creamer jug. Hallmarked, but little to no information can be found on the maker.
This tea set is an excellent example of Indian craftsmanship with intricate repousse motifs, a signature of antique Calcutta silver, as well as gilt-washed interiors. A beautiful and practical objet d’art.
