Antique set of 4 French .800 silver knives with mother of pearl handles

An elegant set of 4 French .800 silver knives with mother of pearl handles, circa mid to late 19th century. The handles are beautifully made and have that lovely colour play signature to mother of pearl. Marks are the second Minerva head denoting .800 silver purity, the maker’s mark is a lozenge with the initials DL with central rat/mouse motif.

Good antique condition with moderate wear commensurate with age. Some wear to hallmarks.
