A charming antique Chinese export silver vase with weighted base, with marks for renowned Hong Kong retail silversmith Wai Kee. Founded in 1885, Wai Lee is still active today and is based in The Landmark, one of Hong Kong’s most prestigious luxury shopping malls.
This particular mark is one of their earlier ones, dating this to be circa the early 2o=0th century period. Features an etched floral design as well as lovely hand-hammered details and a flared trumpet style opening.
