A beautiful Royal Doulton Art Deco sweetmeat dish in the desirable Caprice pattern. This pattern was registered in 1933 and this piece is circa this period (the 1930s). With lovely abstract stylised floral details in bold primary colours offset by the green border and buttercream yellow porcelain body, this pattern encapsulates the Art Deco period at its best.
A very charming piece, this could be used at cocktail parties or even as a trinket/keepsake dish. Royal Doulton backstamp, Caprice pattern name and number to base.
