This beautiful early 19th century dish was made during the reign of George III circa 1806-1825. We have seen several dishes in this style that were produced from the Chelsea-Derby factory; it is likely that this dish was made sometime after the closure of the Chelsea factory works as many moulds, patterns and workmen continued at the Derby porcelain works.

Diamond-shaped, this lovely dish features a fluted and moulded rim. This piece is beautifully hand painted with loose florals.

It has then been hand gilded with gold detail throughout, particularly on the outer rim.

Price marked at $750 AUD.

Measurements: approximately 29 cm length, 22 cm across. 4.5 cm high.

Condition: Some wear to glaze and gilt loss to rim. One very small fleabite chip to rim, one small chip to underside. Some small firing flaws to base as is normal with English porcelain of this period and age.

Overall very good condition for porcelain of this age.
