This beautiful and rare vase by Australian potter Rynne Tanton comes in a perfect shade of midcentury yellow.

Its glaze is a truly unusual combination of crystalline and crackle glaze, creating an effect where the crystalline areas seem to be layered over a crackle background. This glaze technique was invented by Rynne Tanton and is thus unique, making each piece one of a kind. In particularly, the complexity of combining these techniques means that less than 10% survive the firing process; making these particularly rare on the open market. It is signed with the artist's full name on the base.
