These lovely Art Nouveau toilette jars with sterling silver lids will make a lovely display on any vanity.
Bearing the hallmarks for Birmingham 1902, the lids bear all the artistic details signature of the Art Nouveau period; a maiden’s lovely profile graces the lid, while floral details and scrolling Mucha-inspired lines are embossed in repoussé detail. Very much in the style of Reynolds, but with flourishes typical of the period.
Whether displayed as is or filled with your favourite curios, these lovely jars combine aestheticism and functionality in one.
Overall in good antique condition, however one lid has slight damage as pictured. Individually priced at $200 AUD or as a pair at $350 AUD.
