This lovely Art Nouveau piano stool was made by Beard and Watson, Sydney circa 1905 to 15.
This would make a fantastic piano stool or even a compact entryway seat. Made from excellent quality solid timber thought to be blackwood, the makers had a serious eye for detail.
Lovely classic art nouveau motifs on each side with hearts and flowers add romantic flair to this piece, along with finely carved spindle detail.
The ring pull drawer opens out to reveal a little compartment which you can tuck your sheet music or other important documents into.
In excellent antique condition with a lovely rich patina with minimal wear to legs as expected considering age. The cushion is still in fine condition, with slight wear to the top left corner of braided trim.
