Antique Victorian cut glass and sterling silver toiletry/scent bottle

This late Victorian cut glass and sterling silver toiletry /scent bottle is stylish and timeless. The lid is beautifully crafted with repousse details over the entire top surface, and monogrammed with the letters ESM. The interior of the cap is gilt-washed and in excellent condition. This would be lovely as a display bottle or even for use, considering silver’s antimicrobial properties. 

Marks for Henry Matthews (active 1894-1930), 1899, Birmingham.
