Beautiful antique sterling silver fob medal attributed to James Allen with assay marks for Birmingham 1876 with a later inscription dating to 1896. Monogrammed initials EHW to front cartouche.

Inscription reads as below:

Gymnasium 1st Prize

September 1896

Price marked at $175 AUD.

Measurements: 11.7 grams. 5cm length from base to top of bail.

Excellent antique condition, light rubbing to inscription commensurate with age. Marks crisp and well-struck.
