Antique Silver Cheroot / Pencil Holder with Chatelaine Loop

Unmarked but tested as silver. Has a silver loop which would have attached it to a chatelaine. In modern times this would be perfect for attaching to a chain and wearing it as a pendant. Lovely gilt-washed interior as well. 

Beautiful craftsmanship with hand engraved details.

Possibly early 20th century. Certainly very old vintage.

Some wear and very small dents commensurate with age and use typical of hollow silver items, otherwise very good antique condition.
