Antique sardonyx shell cameo brooch of a front-facing lady

Beautiful antique sardonyx shell cameo brooch depicting a lady, unusually carved to be front-facing and in high relief. The brooch is circa mid to late 19th century and the cameo is of that period if not older. Unmarked but setting likely gold-filled.

Measurements: 3.5cm width, 3.7cm length.
