Antique reticule / miser’s purse with rainbow details

Beautiful antique reticule / miser’s purse with rainbow details circa 1890s to 1920s. A fine piece full of period charm, these miser’s purses would fall elegantly from one’s hand and were popular throughout the 19th century with a brief revival during the Art Deco period.

Measurements: 36.5cm total length (to top of chain). 8.5cm across unstretched.

Very good antique condition; the small ball or decorative detail on the bottom of the bag is missing, but a replacement would be easily reattached.
