Lovely, very desirable Mid Qing celadon porcelain plate with lovely Canton famille rose enamels. Produced during the Tongzhi reign period circa 1860. Butterflies, birds, peaches and floral motifs depicted with lovely luminous colours. A lovely example of Qing celadon and famille rose ware.
A loosely illustrated seal form script mark to the base.
Price marked at $320 AUD.
Measurements: 21 cm diameter, 2.5cm high
There is some wear to the famille rose enamels as well as loss to gilt on the rim, not to mention the firing flaws that can be pictured.
No chips or cracks. Some wear to base commensurate with age.
