Antique Ming Dynasty period blue & white side plate

Antique Ming Dynasty period side plate (circa 1736–1795) decorated in underglaze cobalt blue. Underglaze maker’s mark to base of the bowl. This was likely produced in a folk kiln (min yao) or for export to Southeast Asia (Swatow ware).

Price marked at $220 AUD.

Measurements: 3cm height, 16cm diameter.

Rings true. Minor wear overall commensurate with age. Firing flaws as well as minimal staining and crazing as pictured. This would be good antique condition considering the age of Ming ceramics. Old provenance level to base.
