Vintage Near Antique Medal, Possibly Masonic, with the Nine Muses (Henry Thomas Lamb & Co.)

This vintage, near antique sterling silver and enamel pendant, possibly a Masonic medal is a rare and unusual find. Marked with the names of the nine muses in Classical Greek mythology, we find this to be a truly beautiful piece, well suited to be converted and worn as a pendant. The enamel is in excellent condition considering age. Perfect for lovers of the unusual, celestial and classical mythology. 

Comes with a box by Masonic jeweller Spencer & Co. in London; however this is possibly not the original box. 

Marks for Henry Thomas Lamb and Co., a Masonic jeweller based in St John’s Square, Clerkenwell London. Date stamp for 1935.
