A fine antique Mappin & Webb sterling silver signed flask with various autographs, attributed to sporting interests to be determined. The provenance was stated to us to be likely a South African cricket team pre-WWI circa 1912-1914. Clear well struck assay marks for Mappin & Webb, Birmingham, 1911.  Various autographs, including H.G. Campbell, M. Mosenthal and Chas M. Neustefel. The signatures would have been carefully engraved and this would have been a prestigious gift.  

A stylish piece well suited to traveling epicureans, collectors of fine English silver and sporting memorabilia. We have photographed this under a variety of lighting conditions due to the highly reflective surface of this item.
