A beautiful antique George III crested sterling silver condiment spoon with marks for Eley, Fearn and Chawner, London, 1811.

William Eley I, William Fearn & William Chawner of course was one of the most significant partnerships in English silversmithing history, having helped launch the Chawner dynasty- this condiment spoon is a fine example of this partnership’s work, with a crest engraved of a swan with wings aloft, perched upon a rock.
