Antique European Twin Handle Lidded Chalice in .800 Silver with Scrolled Finial & Beaded Edging

 This lovely .800 silver chalice is likely Continental European in origin and circa early to mid 20th century.

A lovely classic twin handled lidded chalice with scroll finials and beaded edging; the granulation work suggests inspiration from Etruscan metalwork which enjoyed a revival in the 19th to 20th centuries.

Measurements: 9.5 diameter, 14cm across, approx 12.5 cm high.

Condition: One slight dent to inner rim of lid. Not visible when on chalice. Otherwise very good antique condition with only slight wear commensurate with age.
