A very fine and desirable example of an early English Blue Willow pattern, dating mid 19th century circa 1850. Made by Worcester manufacturers George Grainger and Co., who were active 1829-1902. This willow pattern is based on an original design by Turner, exhibiting the classic Blue Willow motifs of 2 figures crossing the bridge and the pagodas in the background.

Excellent antique condition. Minor firing flaws to base, very minor wear to gilt.
