Beautiful small antique Dutch .833 silver basket with pierced neo-classical design, with marks for 1918, J.M. van Kempen en Zn. & Co. Founded in 1835 in Utrecht, J.M. van Kempen grew to become one of the oldest and largest silver making firms in The Netherlands, specialising in High Art Nouveau and neo-classical designs.
