Antique Chinoiserie inspired Minton Teacup and Saucer Set Circa 1858

Antique chinoiserie Minton teacup and saucer circa 1858. 

Really charming blend of Victorian aesthetics and Oriental inspired blossom motifs, clearly influenced by botanical illustrations of the day. 

Overall a beautiful example of early Minton.

Condition: One small historic ship on rim of saucer; due to the busy pattern not overly noticeable. Otherwise in good condition with minimal wear to gilt trim except for around handle where it was held. Wear to base commensurate with age.

Saucer diameter of approximately 14 cm, height of approximately 2 cm.

Tea cup height of approximately 5 cm, diameter of approximately 8.5 cm.
