Antique Chinese Silver Zee Sung Wine Bottle Coaster

This beautiful antique 900 silver wine bottle coaster is a fine representation of Chinese export silver circa late 19th century to early 20th century. Made by the noted Shanghai silversmith Zee Sung (who also used the hallmarks of Zee Shun) and was active from 1900-1940. They mostly specialised in small items, and this wine bottle coaster is an excellent example.

From the style we believe this to be cusp of the century; a very simple silhouette with only the carving of dragons and what is possibly a full moon. An elegant piece that would serve equally well paired with contemporary or antique surroundings.
